Description
Developed with Neil Peart of Rush, the Paragon series blends 2 styles of lathing for a very balanced cymbal tone. Pinpoint lathing creates a narrower groove for a fast, lively response on the top, while the traditional AA lathing creates a wider groove for a fuller, richer tone on the bottom side.

Best Hi-Hat Period.

I've used so many different types of hats over the last 20+ years of playing and these are the best hands down. Ive been disappointed with Meinl (tried at least 8 different types), Zildjian K/A customs aren't bad but still didn't hit what I wanted. Never been a fan of Paiste (I've tried from PST3 to signature series). When looking for cymbals, I always seem to go back to Sabian just because they (for me) can't be beat. The Paragon Hi-Hats are amazing sound and quality, but what do you expect when they are made with the best drummer currently? Only thing Ive ever used that sounds close to these were a set of Zildjian new beats back in the mid 90's that were as dirty as could be but sounded great too. Beyond that, haven't found anything close!

I've been looking for a set of high end hi hats for 2 years. I've been disappointed by K series, but these make up for that! They are very crisp, have a great splash. My petal is terrible, but that doesn't has near as bad as an effect as every other hi hats I've tried. These hats chick better thank everything! You have control over what you want to play. These hats exceed versatile. I got the 13", and I was worried they were going to sound to weak, but you can do everything!

I recently bought these hi-hats and they have already become my favorite part of my kit. They sound great when played closed (a nice 'tik' without the ugly resonance), really good and not too loud or trashy when played partially open, and also make a very satisfying 'chik' sound when opened and closed with the foot. I'm extremely pleased with these hi-hats and would recommend them to anyone.

I just purchased these hi-hats today and I'm amazed. At the shop they sounded far better than any other hi-hats I tried out. -Beautiful tone and no trashy-sounding resonance -Have a gorgeous, classy vintage sound when opened and closed with the foot -Surprisingly great sounding when played partially open -In general they're quiet hats but have the potential to be loud and cut through the music if need be. -Look positively gorgeous I'm extremely pleased with my purchase of these and would recommend them to any drummer.
