Description

The AAX Series Stage crash cymbal's explosive, full-response sound is rich with bright, high-end tones for increased cutting power.

Like stainless steel, AAX is cool, modern, and extremely efficient. Tap with your finger or thrash with a stick, Auto-Focus Response maximizes sensitivity, equalizes high- and low-pitch levels, and purifies sounds by filtering out conflicting overtones.

I got this cymbal in the 17" size exactly a year ago. As soon as I got it home and set it up, I immediately fell in love with it. It's got an awesome tone to it, somewhat dark with great overtones. I have it set up with a few AA Metal-X crashes, which compliment it nicely. The AAX is definitely the better cymbal though. Also, I am an extremely heavy player, and this cymbal has yet to begin to lose it's tone, and still looks brand new. If you want a top-quality cymbal, this is the one for you.

I bought this symbol a month ago (17 Inch) and it is awesome! Great sound and great for anything you can do to a crash! I would totally recommend it. And its great because the rebate gives me a free AAX X-Plosion 15 inch crash!! So its really a no-brainer.

Its a good cymbal....but not so great to ride on, has good sound, but a little too deep for me. But great cymbal for rock or metal.

This is by far the best cymbal purchase I've made in a long time. The attack is bright but not overbearing. It has a slightly darker tone than what I expected from an AAX but it doesn't disappoint. For me it was the perfect cymbal. Perfect pitch, nice cut, what more could you ask for. I cannot think of one bad thing to say about the cymbal other than the price is a little high but it's also a professional cymbal. So if you have the money, go for it. You won't be disappointed. Two thumbs up!!!

I was planning to get the 17." AAXplosion crash, but they did not have it so I got the 17" stage crash. It is a good crash that is expolsive and pretty loud. There arent many sabian crashes better than this one other than AA metal X or AAXplosion or HHX power crash I reccomend this crash to anyone who is looking for a crash.

I just got the 16" version of this crash today and it is amazing. It has a nice deep tone. I was suprised to get such a lot pitch out of a 16" crash. I would recommend this crash to anyone who plays Rock or metal. It's not the most versatile cymbal, but it is great for accents. Go to your local music store or at least Sabian.com and listen to it before you buy it. Great cymbal, Well worth the money
