18" AA Rock Crash

16" AA Rock Crash

Description
The Sabian 18" AA Rock crash cymbal delivers a bold, vivid tone for drummers seeking to cut through the mix. This explosive crash offers penetrating volume and brightness that blends well in any instrument mix. Constructed from B20 bronze using Sabian's proprietary hammering technique, this professional-grade cymbal produces crisp, punchy sounds with long sustain and projection. The medium weight and traditional finish provide an ideal balance of power and control.
Secret-Process Bronze for Strength and Clarity
Forged from B20 bronze, a proprietary alloy exclusive to Sabian, the 18" AA Rock Crash receives 75 tons of pressure during shaping to produce a dense, responsive cymbal. This process results in a cymbal with a robust inner strength capable of withstanding the impact of drum sticks, while maintaining a bright, focused tone with clear note definition. The traditional natural finish allows the cymbal's sonic properties to shine through uninhibited.
Medium Weight for Versatility
With a medium weight and traditional profile, the 18" AA Rock Crash provides enough mass to produce an explosive crash sound with a full wash of overtones yet remains thin enough for subtler riding applications. This versatile weight makes the cymbal suitable for a wide range of musical styles from rock and funk to jazz and blues. The cymbal speaks quickly with a fast buildup and decay, ideal for busy drummers needing a cymbal that can keep up with rapid-fire playing.
Cut Through Any Mix
The penetrating, high-pitched tone of the 18" AA Rock Crash allows it to slice through dense mixes with authority. Its bright, energetic sound is tailored for rock, where it provides the power and projection needed to compete with amplified guitars and bass. Yet it remains dynamic enough for jazz, funk and blues, adding a splash of musicality with a bold, metallic shimmer. For drummers seeking a professional-level crash cymbal that can rise above the fray in any live or studio situation, the Sabian 18" AA Rock Crash delivers.

This cymbal has a very nice, high pitched tone. With this cymbal, you don't even need to use the bell of your ride cymbal, because the bell of this cymbal is very big and LOUD! This is a very strong, reliable cymbal, and I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So beautiful...

Hello, wich is the difference between this Sabian AA rock crash cymbal and the AA rock crash cymbal BRILLIANT? Thanks
Sabian Brilliant finish cymbals are highly buffed and preserved under a clear protective lacquer coating. This is largely a cosmetic difference. Brilliant cymbals are more prone to getting dull and having fingerprints.
