V71 Module Provides Expandable, High-Fidelity Sound

At the heart of the VAD716 is Roland's powerful V71 module with an all-new, multi-sampled sound library created in collaboration with Drum Workshop. It offers a core set of high-resolution sounds to get you started, which can then be expanded with digital downloads from Roland Cloud. The module provides deep editing tools, studio-grade effects and 32 channels of uncompressed audio via USB for recording without latency. Its large color display and intuitive interface make navigating the module's features simple and enjoyable.

Seamless Transition to Software

The V71 module pairs with DW Soundworks, a software drum instrument for macOS and Windows computers. With a Roland Cloud Ultimate membership, the software provides a fluid transition from playing the VAD716 to computer-based drumming. It gives you a familiar interface and editing tools, the ability to customize kits with additional sounds and access to pattern libraries for practice and play-along. The VAD716's built-in wireless connectivity makes downloading software updates and content quick and convenient.
