I went from a cheap pair of AKGs K52s (only about $40) to these, and WOW. What a difference it makes having a decent pair of headphones!!!!! I know they are a little pricey, but these headphones are definitely quality headphones for v-drums. I'm using these for my TD-25KV, the bass drum sounds great, the snare and cymbals are nice and crisp, no distortion from the bass. Overall I am very happy with this purchase.

Can listen to music at a reasonable volume and hear my drum kit too. Great way to help with hearing damage. I wear them playing without music too, to cut the treble down. Only wish they stayed in place a little better, but they don't fall off my head, just need to be repositioned during breaks between songs, but very very few headphones can take that kinda movement. I just expected that to be better cuz they are for drummers, and cost quite a bit.
