Road Runner RRMAM ABS Molded A Mandolin Case

Not a super nice case, but works well enough for my Eastman A-style mandolin. #sweepstakes

I wanted to like this case. It is sturdy, well padded and fits my instrument The hinges are cheap and misaligned making it hard to close and latch. Worse yet, the cover won't stay open on a level surface. It dropped on my mandolin twice. It's going back today.

I had a new one, but returned it along with a new Mandolin on a whim. Soon regretted both returns. I went back to my local GC store a couple of weeks later in hopes of re-buying both. Mandolin was sold. But associate Vincent showed me a used Gretsch acoustic-electric that I fell in love with. The better news is that this case came in a package deal, along with a strap. I quickly found that this is a great case. Not only does it store and carry my A-style Mandolin, but it also carries my newer (larger) strap, an electric cord, a tuner, a capo, a slide and numerous picks. I also put a humidifier system in the case. The head humidifier, cord and strap go under the head in the open area, while all else goes in the covered compartment. The body humidifier is under the body of the Mando. Nothing is forced in or slides around. An all around nice fit. This case, even though I'm the 2nd owner, does everything promised. I rest easy knowing my stuff is in there and that all is protected well.

i've had this case for a few hours so i won't comment on durability but it looks well made. i bought this for a tenor size ukulele which fits perfectly. some things in the description are untrue but did not alter my satisfaction with the case ie rubber feet=no they are metal, 3 latches=no there are 2 latches, no middle one and no lock devise, open accessory compartment= the only open compartment is the case itself. i do like the case and would buy it again, it would be nice if someone actually looked at the case before describing for sale.
