Rickenbacker 1993Plus 12-String Electric Guitar Jetglo

Description
This classic 12-string design comes standard with three vintage reissue pickups, stereo output, trapeze tailpiece, vintage knobs and f-hole. Double body binding and pearlescent inlays add a refined touch. X-bracing in the body helps to bring out the full, rich and warm sounds these instruments are known for. The 1993Plus also features Rickenbacker's master variable tone control. This fifth knob allows you to fine tune the EQ between the bass and treble pickups, in a variety of ways and with some unique characteristics.
The haunting, melodic chorus characteristics of Rickenbacker 12-strings continue to benefit from evolution. The original 1993 design was once exclusive to the British distributor Rose Morris in the sixties.

The Rickenbacker sound is unique and legendary. I've favored 12-string guitars for years, but have never played an electric 12-string before buying this one. I figured if I was going to buy one, I'd buy what I really wanted. The Rickenbacker was the only 12-string I was interested in. All I had to do was tune the guitar and it was perfect. The action was just how I liked it. Plugged it in and the sound was captivating. Wish I'd bought one years ago.
Yes, I would buy this again

I bought the Rickenbacker for it s sound. Only a Rickenbacker has this sound. Ever since I was a kid in rodk bands, I ve always wanted one. I particularly love this one because of the slightly wider neck. Easier to play. Extremely high quality is Rickenbacker. Love it!

Love the guitar! The wider neck DOES make a difference and easier to play! I ordered online over Presidents Day, could not use any of the promotional coupons or reward points I have earned!

I sold my Rick 360/12 to buy this model because the neck is slightly wider.I could not find one to try so just ordered it hoping it would be a better fit. And it was. My first choice was the Rick 660/12 and I put my order in because it showed 2 weeks before availability. After 3 weeks the date kept being moved further out to 7 months. That's when I noticed that the 1993 had the wider neck also and it was in stock. A week later it was in my hands. I plays wonderful, I can't believe how the slight difference in width could make. I just might put the order back in for the 660/12 to and have it by next Christmas. I'm hooked
