    It is a great alternative to the hi-hat when playing latin or jazz music. We use this alot in my highschool band, but you have to be careful with it, because with all cabasas the metal under the beads is very thin and can be dented easily. But overall, it has a great sound and can last a very long time with good care.

    The Rhythm Tech Piccolo Cabasa has great overall performance and is easier to handle compared to other percussion instruments and is a great tool to have if you want to give your music a different style and sound. It's a good idea for drummers to get one if they want to replace the hi-hat with something other then a ride symbol or cowbell.
