The Remo Vintage Emperor is a reissue of the original 1960s Emperor drum head that contributed to some of the most distinct and memorable drum sounds in history. It is constructed using two plies of 7.5-mil polyester films which feature pronounced mid and low.

This Tom drum head pack from Remo features a three pack of coated Vintage Emperor heads for the batter side of your toms. The packs are available in a trio of combinations to accommodate the most common tom shell sizes for a 5-piece drum kit.

    I have used Remo heads for decades and within this past year, I can no longer get their heads to fit either of my Yamaha sets (2016 Stage Custom, 1978 YD 7000) the heads never fit flat on the toms (Rock back and forth about ¼ inch), and Trying to tune them is near impossible due to the poor fitment. This is not the first time I have had fitment problems with Remo heads, earlier this year I had the same problem with Remo Pinstripe heads. Now the problem is repeated with these Emperor heads. it must be related to a process change at Remo...
