    This is a great snare side head for a warmer, drier, compact and "woodier" sound. It has less ring and buzz with traditional smooth sided snare heads. I use it with Pure Sound snares to get a warmer tighter sound. Especially good with brushes, gives a real pop or "bark" on the accents.
