    Great head; really brings out the full potential of the conga. Been using Remo heads for decades. Easy to tune, great projection. This was my second such head purchased from Guitar Center to use on my LP conga. The first ordered was the wrong type; didn't fit my LP Classic. No trouble at all returning it. Guitar Center's customer service is top notch.

    The NuSkyn conga Head I bought was 12.5 inch size for my LP Classic Series II Tumba. The conga head that came with it had a sound I would describe as "dead". With the Nuskyn conga head the tumba sounds much more lively, a better open tone sound, and slaps sound more crisp also. I actually have NuSkyn heads on 3 of my congas, so obviously I like them and I recommend them. Plus they more easily stay in tune.
