    I ordered this because I wanted a different head on my bass, I had the stock Yamaha head on and wanted more of a bang! Glad I purchased this and read the reviews! Man does it have a bang so much better than the stock head. Sounds like a cannon now! Thanks Guitar Center!

    Excellent sounding head. I have it paired with a PS3 batter head on my 22" Gretsch Catalina Maple kick. Delivers a pleasant boom with just enough resonance. Records extremely well, good natural low end. It does not require any additional EQing.
