Description

The RCF ART-915A 2-way powered speaker delivers exceptional clarity, power and flexibility, redefining performance standards for professional audio applications. Equipped with a 15" woofer and a 1.75" compression driver, this speaker offers a linear frequency response of 45Hz–20kHz and up to 131dB SPL of distortion-free sound. Its 2,100W Class-D bi-amplification system ensures ample headroom and ultrafast transients, while the True Resistive Waveguide produces consistent 100° x 60° coverage. Combining RCF's FiRPHASE and Bass Motion Control DSP technology, it achieves precise phase alignment and deep, controlled bass. Whether used as a standalone PA, stage monitor or part of a flown array, the ART-915A provides unmatched reliability and power in a sleek, durable enclosure.

Advanced DSP for Pristine Audio Clarity

This powered speaker incorporates RCF's proprietary FiRPHASE and Bass Motion Control DSP technologies, delivering precise audio reproduction. FiRPHASE optimizes phase response, ensuring every frequency arrives at the listener's ear in perfect alignment, while Bass Motion Control manages woofer excursion for a clean, distortion-free low end. These systems work in tandem to maintain crystal-clear highs, articulate mids and a deep, controlled bass response—even at high volumes. With DSP finely tuned to the ART-915A's components, this speaker provides an immersive listening experience with every performance.

2,100W Bi-Amplification for Powerful Sound

The ART-915A is driven by a high-efficiency Class-D amplifier, delivering 2,100W of power—1,400W to the woofer and 700W to the compression driver. This two-channel amplification system produces ultra-fast transient response, handling high SPLs with ease while maintaining clarity and detail. The amp's energy-efficient design eliminates the need for a cooling fan, reducing mechanical noise and ensuring reliable performance. With its robust power output, the ART-915A provides the punch and precision needed for demanding audio environments.

True Resistive Waveguide for Controlled Dispersion

RCF's True Resistive Waveguide ensures consistent sound coverage with a 100° x 60° dispersion pattern. This innovative design minimizes distortion and maintains coherent phase alignment across the listening area, ensuring every seat enjoys the same high-quality sound. The waveguide works seamlessly with the speaker's 1.75" compression driver, delivering smooth, natural highs and improved vocal intelligibility. Whether used in a front-of-house configuration or as part of a flown system, this waveguide ensures focused and even sound projection.

A Durable and Lightweight Powered Speaker

Constructed from a polypropylene composite material with M-brace internal reinforcement, the ART-915A is built to withstand the rigors of frequent use. This innovative design minimizes cabinet vibrations, enhancing acoustic performance while maintaining structural integrity. The enclosure features multiple rigging points for pole mounting, wall installation or truss suspension, making it adaptable to various setups. Weighing just 46.3 lb., this speaker is easy to transport and install, delivering reliability and ease of use for professionals on the move.

  • Better than others in the lineup at store.

I head them in store and felt the separation of highs and lows was better than the other speakers I listened to. The bottom was solid and didn't seem to overwork or distort at higher levels. I did have to adjust the high end a little down as the volume went up. Will have more of a review after I get to use them at events.

  • I was replacing older, but heavier and more expensive 15s

I needed something I could get in a retail store and quick. I had been researching RCF 932's or 945's. So, how did I end up with 915A's? They were the ones in stock. They were the ones I could listen to. I did compare with 912's, and I have mixed feelings between the two. In any level of these RCF's, the 12's should have cleaner midrange. It's a lot to ask a 15" woofer to do midrange duty. Unfortunately, I need these for a lot of situations where a subwoofer is not practical, welcome, or affordable for folks. Yet, first time out, I paired them with powered 18' subs (EV ETX) and high passed the outputs to the RCF 915A's at 100hz from the mixer. I ran the subs on an aux. Keep in mind, these don't have built in crossover adjustments like other brands. You have to do it that way. The EV subs only send full range. and... they worked! The smaller compression driver vs. the ones in the 932 or 945 were not an issue for this outdoor event like I thought they would be. Client was happy. I was happy, but more critical. I wish I could afford a pair of 932's and only keep 15's around for when there's no subs. Or.. maybe 912's since the smaller compression driver was actually not a big deal.

Purchased RCF ART 915A. Returned due to two reasons- smelling circuit burned & hot to touching. Second reason- No bluetooth or graphic touch screen and internal settings. Have GuitarCenter rept. ordered two RCF ART915-AX. Picked up drove home, unboxed- one was not new, was dusty, was mixed up inside the box, one speaker was opened and resealed with double copper staples, and re-taped. The power cord dirty- mixing end cord plastic cover at the three prongs. The smelling of the circuit- burned, and hot to touch heatsink housing after one hour power on with moderate music playing. Will returning RCF-ART 915-AX. The reason purchased Made in Italy.

Clarity has been great. Volume and overall clean headroom is nice. Compared to similar priced QSC, EV, JBL, etc, and these were better for punch and clarity. No frills, but these are made for good solid sound. The other brands have other features, preamps, etc, if you need that, there are other decent options in this price range. My focus was the best sound and these won. I would buy again.

  • I wouldn't buy product again.

What is the best way to connect the speaker to a DJ controller to get the best sound quality from the Speaker?

    Open Reply - Gear-Support
There are two ways to coofect to the ART. - 1/4" and XLR. I don't know what controller you have or what outputs it has. The type pf speaker connection does not affect the sound.
