QSC

collapse expand iconDescription

Make no mistake—the QSC K10.2 is nothing short of a game changer. With a redesigned, ultra-efficient power module that routes nearly twice the power to the low-frequency driver compared to the legacy K Series, this robust 10" enclosure sets a new standard for active PA systems. The K10.2's 2,000-watt Class-D amplification module gives you deep, tight lows and crystal-clear highs for rich, accurate sound at volumes that seem almost impossible for its size.

Equally impressive is that all this performance comes in such a lightweight and user-friendly package, making transporting and setting up the K10.2 almost effortless. But don’t let its small footprint deceive you—the K10.2 packs a serious punch and is built tough to withstand the rigors of professional use. Thanks to QSC’s high-grade materials and uncompromising workmanship, this speaker is designed for unwavering reliability and is ready to take whatever you throw at it.

Superbly flexible, the K10.2’s onboard DSP and preset EQ contours let you adapt to any venue and get your sound dialed in quickly. You can also store customized scenes to recall settings, such as input type, delay, EQ and crossover.

With so much power at its disposal, the K10.2 is as comfortable taking center stage as a main PA as it is wedged on the floor as a monitor. Paired with a QSC subwoofer for matched low-end reinforcement, this powerful speaker can handle a wide range of events with ease. Add two subs to a pair of K10.2s and you’ve got an unstoppable sound system.

Heavy-duty rigging points mean the K10.2 easily adapts to both flown and mounted installations. Whether you’re a mobile DJ or a live performer, the K10.2 is an indispensable and versatile tool that lives up to QSC’s reputation for quality and reliability.

Consistant Performer

If you liked the previous K series, these surely will please. Compared to the competition, you'll be pleased. I own several different active speakers and these are one of my favorites. Each has different benefits. Very good vocal presence, clean and natural. They have excellent input flexibility and on board DSP allows you to tune them as desired. Note the eq will only attenuate. Unlike some of the other similar speakers, these really will do better with a separate sub. You can punch the low on end on your mixer and get by but they are notably less driven on the low end than my other active cabs. The overall sound quality makes it worthwhile though. Cabinet will not be nearly as forgiving to dings and bumps as many others though so consider buying the cases.

I would not buy this product again or recommend it.

I have been through 2 of these trying to use them with my Line 6 helix floor. The first one kept tripping "protect mode 4" which required me to play a test tone for the speaker to produce sound again. I tried everything including all presets, mic and line level inputs matched to helix outputs. At each configuration I ensured that the setup was proper. I have used the helix with other speakers, including headrush, Yamaha and EV. The k10.2 sounded great but would continually fail. I returned it and GC sent another, same issue again. This occurred at relatively low practice volumes playing mostly clean, no audio clipping from the helix and the gain on the k10.2 at 0. I'm extremely disappointed and could not recommend this product to anyone. I originally purchased in August, it was back ordered and I received the first one in late October/Early November. I ended up returning it as I could not play it more than an hour before failure. Second one came from GC, same issue but this time I contacted QSC, did factory reset and reinstalled firmware. The issue persists. I will be returning this one as well and looking for another solution. To add insult to injury, this item has increased in price by $200, along with all comparable speakers, since I originally purchased. Therefore I can't get a similar product for anywhere near the price I originally paid for what appears to be a defective line of speakers. BEFORE YOU BUY, GOOGLE "K10.2 PROTECT MODE 4" Buyer beware, this is an unreliable sound reinforcement solution

I like this speaker over the Bose S1 Pro+ and the L8 Tower. It's not too heavy and produces a lot of high-quality sound. I'm able to use it on its own for large events of around 150+ people. I put it on a stand and it definitely does the job. I will likely be ordering another one soon! #sweepstakes

I love QSC audio, and this speaker is the perfect size for mid-size events. The quality for me is better than my other speaker, which is the Bose S1 Pro+.

I have used a lot of different gear over my 30+ years, and the QSC K series are just amazing. Compact enough to be portable, but Big BIG sound.

As others have mentioned, the protect mode makes my K10.2 a brick on a regular. QSC used to stand for Quality, Service, Commitment. No more. The K.2 series are truly useless.

I'm not aware of a problem. Perhaps an inquiry to QSC.

The concern is that there is a significant amount of glue used in speaker construction. Very hot, over a period of time is not something I would recommend. You're speaker will wear that much more every time it's used.
