Seems like a good case but I can't tell yet because I don't have the snare drum that I bought with it. No fought of guitar center. It's on back order and not suppose to show up until june. I took a look over of the case and it seems to be built well--no loose strings or seems. Padding is nice and thick.

  • Yes I would buy this again!

I just bought a Ludwig Black Beauty and wanted a padded bag that would give it good protection and I love how sturdy this bag is!

I have a complete set of these for my 5 piece Gretsch kit. They are very well made. Love the thick lining in them and the outer material is going to last for a very long time. They are super light. Bass drum case has 2 slots on either side to carry it with 2 hands or a single handle in the middle. Zippers are top of the line. I was tired after a gig and just threw a tom in my car. I expected to hear the rim of the drum "thump" when it hit the trunk of the car but it didn't. It didn't make any noise. So that told me that the lining on these is superior. Yeah, I did my homework and found that these were just a little more expensive. But now that I have them, I can tell you I would NOT let that little extra hold me back from buying these cases.

I bought their 12x5 snare bag for a salsa snare that is that size, sand it's WAY too big, being 16" in diameter. I double-checked that I wasn't sent the wrong bag. Before I order a 14x6.5 bag for another snare, I want to make sure that bag isn't 4" wider than what it's rated for as well, so I know whether to order a 13" diameter bag instead.

Does this drum bag haves a compartment separate from the main compartment. I noticed a zipper on top of the bag ,or does that open to the same compartment

That opens the same compartment. I'm not showing any compartments.
