Get this Sub WITH the S8s
You have to get this sub with the S8s. This adds a very defined and clear bottom end without distorting or giving you a false coloring of your sub. The awesome thing about this sub is that it has a kick pedal so that you can work on your highs and mids without the sub getting in the way and then kicking it on when you want.

I wouldn't buy this again
The sound quality at lower levels is great but it cannot handle higher volume without distorting. I paired it with the Eris E7XT monitors and I'm not impressed. If I had two of them I think it would be sufficient to match with the E7s.

Luv it! Clean bottom. Not boomy like another I tried first. Even tho it's 10" and my Event 20/20's are 8", they still blend well together.
beware of warranty repair you have to pay shipping!!!

Made an instant improvement to my home studio. I have an older pair of tannoy active monitors that sound great, but drop of at around 80, so I was over compensating the low-end in my mixes to have it sound right on the monitors. Added this sub, set the crossover accordingly and BAM, and after a short while, my mixes sound so much better outside the studio because I'm not pumping the low-end too much. Highly recommend.
Very satisfied with this small footprint sub.

I bought this to bass enhance a pair of Yamaha MSP5 speakers for mixing and mastering. It turned out after using a 1/3 octave RTA I only needed a very slight amount of bass boost which the T10 handles quite well. I now get more punch to kick drums and I'm hearing more in the 20-50 Hz range with electronic and hip-hop mixes etc. I'm not trying to rumble and rattle the walls but just filling in the bottom that is missing with the MSP5's. I previously had some modulation type noise on the MSP5's as fed from my DAW I/O box via a Presonus headphone amp (on the monitor through output) but with the T10 in line between the MSP5's the noise went away. I can only conclude that the input circuit on the T10 is better at CMR than the MSP5's are. All in all I'm very happy and the footswitch bypass is a nice and useful feature. This speaker can pump way more bass than I need so I have no issue with it being under powered as some have commented.
