PreSonus—FaderPort 16

Description
The PreSonus FaderPort 16 is a compact, USB-powered control surface featuring 16 motorized touch-sensitive faders, perfect for controlling levels in your digital audio workstation. Music producers, live sound engineers, podcasters and video editors will appreciate the hands-on control over their software during mixing or editing sessions. Featuring an intuitive layout with transport controls, pan knob and 16 LED meters, the FaderPort 16 works seamlessly with major DAWs like Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Cubase, and Studio One.
16 Motorized Faders Provide Precision Level Control
The PreSonus FaderPort 16's headline feature is its bank of 16 touch-sensitive, motorized long-throw faders which provide smooth, precise control over channel levels in your DAW. The motorized faders automatically change positions to match the levels in your DAW session, giving you visual feedback and letting you make broad level changes with a single swipe. Tap any of the 100 mm faders to select its channel, and the FaderPort 16 automatically maps the faders to control your DAW's mixer.
Full Transport Controls and Pan Control
In addition to the faders, the FaderPort 16 provides a full set of transport controls to start, stop, rewind, fast forward, loop and record in your DAW. A pan knob lets you adjust the left/right balance of the selected channel. LED meters above each fader provide visual feedback on levels. Combined, these controls give you a tactile, hands-on experience for mixing, editing and production work.
Compact, Bus-Powered Design
Measuring just 20" wide, the FaderPort 16 is sized to fit perfectly next to your computer keyboard. It is bus-powered via USB, so no external power supply is required. The compact, portable design means you can easily transport the FaderPort 16 between studios or live gigs. A sturdy metal chassis and high-quality components ensure roadworthiness and durability.
Seamless Integration With Major DAWs
The FaderPort 16 works out of the box with PreSonus Studio One and also supports HUI control for seamless operation with Pro Tools, Logic, Cubase, Nuendo and other major DAWs. Pre-mapped integration means the faders, transport controls and other functions automatically map to the appropriate controls in your software.

Worked out of the box with Logic

I bought a used unit from Guitar Center and it arrived today. Everything worked right away with Logic Pro X on my 2021 Macbook. No set up required. I was amazed. Also, the interface is fairly self-explanatory so the learning curve to get up and going right away was extremely minimal. I was using it within minutes. I have used units with flying faders before and have been recording for decades, so this may have helped. With that said, this unit made recording easier, faster, and more fun almost instantly. Great investment so far.
Excellent product I will recommend to all I know

I love this faderport. Makes studio one a powerhouse and easy to mix more than ever. Mardi gras mode is addictive. Super easy to automate now and control your daw. No latency or bugs so far. Really loving my faderport16.
Great Addition to Studio One 3 Pro

Although it will work most other DAW's It's a great controller for use with Studio One 3. Sits a little high in my desktop setup which makes it difficult to see the scribble strips so I had to rig it up where it's tilted at about a 45 deg angle, and I place a couple of monitor stands under my computer monitor. Works great so far, but I'm still learning to become familiar with it.
