Pioneer DJ DJM-700 4-Channel Digital DJ mixer with Effects Black

Description
As far as effects, some of the more notable additions to this Pioneer mixer include Beat Effect, which automatically detects the BPM of the tune to perfectly align any of the various effects such as flanger, phaser, or crush, with the beat; Roll Sampler, which provides 4 realtime sampling patterns”roll, reverse roll, pitch up roll, and pitch down roll; and Beat Select Buttons”2 buttons that help maintain synchronization between beat effects and audio by letting the user quickly select the effect timing.

The 700 is my favorite piece gear I own. This thing is just a machine. I've used it with CDJ's, with a controller and a laptop, I hooked up synths to it, and every single time this mixer is unparalleled in just about every way to any other DJ mixer out there. Overall it will do 99% of what a 800 or 900 would do, for quite a bit less money than the other 2 Pioneer club mixers. The filter is incredibly useful, especially for build ups and breakdowns. The Roll section of effects is a lot of fun, and all the other effects are useful and fun too. I think the best part about this mixer, is just that it has everything you need, and nothing you don't. Every effect is useful, not a single effect sounds gimicky or stupid. There is not a single knob or button on this mixer that you would not want to use. Nothing on it is just "taking up space". I've yet to try out the MIDI functionality, but I would imagine it is excellent. Fader Start is great to have if you are using Pioneer CDJ's with this mixer. Not to mention it just looks super hot, the black surface is kind of sparkly, but mirror smooth, and it looks incredible in a dark club with lasers and lights reflecting off of it. In the end, definitely buy this mixer if you are looking for a 4 channel. Don't get a knock off Behringer or something, just go for the real deal. I've tried the Behringer clones of this and other Pioneer mixers, and though they look similar, they sound horrible compared to Pioneer gear, and just don't function as well or feel as sturdy as what a Pioneer will give you. This mixer is bombproof, and it will take care of you as long as you take care of it.

Ok I have been shopping at Guitar center for quite sometime in Bakersfield, Ca. I can say this much they need help. I have purchased a 1,000 $ mixer never got a call when it came in. I had to go check on the item to see if it was in and it was. I ordered a cdj 800. Same thing never got a call when it came in 6 days later went in the store it was in. Personell who work with the protection plan really need some help. I have had to call 3 times to this place just to have a box and shipping label sent out. This is a guitar center protection plan. If a customer says an item you should know what they are talking about. Seriously Guitar Center get it together in these times I dont think anyone can afford to loose a customer. Especially someone who has spent 4,500 $ in the past 5 months.

love this mixer!!! the sound quality is great the effects are awesome... it bascially has everything that a seperate efx unit has. it has a knob for the filter which really comes in handy! you can go from high pass to low pass. the djm 600 did not have that. this is a great mixer for those of us who love clean sound. this mixer delivers!!!

The Pioneer DJM 700 has faded the line between hardware limitations and total artistic freedom. Used by chart topping DJ's and performers, it is definitely Pioneer's new flagship mixer for 2008. The frequency effect filter is a breakthrough in harmonic simplicity, and the MIDI functions make it a quality stand alone surface controller. Thank you Pioneer!!!
