Description
The Phil Jones Bass Compact 4 may be small; yet it provides the highest audio performance. The cabinet is constructed from Baltic Birch plywood. Rigid internal bracing keeps cabinet coloration to its lowest. The four 5 in. “Piranha” drivers are based on the Phil Jones Bass Suitcase and 4B cabinet. They feature ferrite magnet structures for nu-compromised dynamics, extended bass response and punch/attack.
If your style is slap bass, this cabinet will show how good your slap tone is. What’s more, it reproduces effortlessly the true tone of any bass or player. You hear subtleties and nuances in your playing never heard before. Your sound becomes more prominent and inspiring to you, your band and your audience.
Physically, the Compact 4 has the flexibility and portability of being used alone or stacked as multiples.

Sounds decent but you need a truck load of them to play a gig. Best suited to bedroom rehearsal.

If you know Phil Jones Bass gear, this is more of the same goodness: * Compact size * Relatively lightweight * Clean / clear sound I got this to go with my BG-400 combo and they make a great rig.

1 cab is perfect for rehearsals, 2 cabs is great for small clubs. I prefer full range cabs, but I don't miss having a horn with these. They faithfully reproduce my tone. Definitely a keeper!
I love PJB Customer Service!!! Cab sounds great.

I had written a bad review after I had contacted support via phone message and email with no reply. Then I tried one more time and got excellent support and source to purchase blown drivers. They are excellent!!! I with there was a way to undo reviews. Unfortunately internet is forever.
No Support from PJB So I Wouldn't Repurchase

I had registered it and loved it's sound until a speaker blew. Not my fault as I didn't over drive it "but" I understand these things happen. I both called and emailed PJB politely regarding how to purchase a replacement speaker. No reply.
Truly amazing

I did not know what to expect when i ordered 2 c4 cabs. I seen all the reviews. Its everything i was looking for. Small powerful and easy to load in and out of a gig. I went from a markbass 104hf. 2 c4 cabs sound tighter and cleaner. I takes a little getting use to. It does not move air like a 410. But it sounds better. And sits in a mix beautifully. I power it with a mesa d800. Great sounding rig and i play in a somewhat loud rock band. I do have good pa support but i dont feel like i need it. Great for small to medium clubs.
