    These tension rods are great, but make sure the size you pick is the right one. I got the 42mm rods and they turned out to be a bit too long for a 4" pearl snare drum (the top piece will come in contact with the bottom one since the rods share the same lug).

    These are honestly the best tension rods I've ever used. They make my toms sound 10x better than the tension rods I had been using. The best part is that, even though they don't advertise it, these things stay locked in place during even the most heavy death polka thrashing. Buy these tension rods bring your drums back to polka life!
