These high hats are insanely inexpensive. I just got them and am thoroughly impressed with the sound. I can't say how much abuse they can take or how long they'll last compared to more expensive high hats but as for now I'm psyched I saved some cash and got these!

I bought the Paiste 101 Hihats for my 4 yr old son to use on his drumset. I have to say that my expectations were low considering the price. These were a pleasant surprise I must say! They look good, have a nice chick sound when played with the pedal, and respond well to various stick techniques when closed. To me, they sound better than some of the other budget cymbals I have played. I would say these are great for a beginning drummer or for someone that may have a second "practice" kit and needs something to hit that won't break the bank.

I got these hi-hat cymbals with my second drum set and even after 6 years, they still sound great. Unlike my previous cymbals, they are very durable and hard to mark up. They have a clean, crisp sound and are perfect for any beginner to intermediate player.
