If you're shopping in the < $1000 price range this is it. The build and feel of this guitar for the price point is perfect. The neck is smooth, the top looks amazing, and the sound is great. I played Fender, epiphone, Schecter guitars all at the same price point and the feel of the PRS was simply better (Schecter was a close second for me). Replaced the knobs with the new PRS lampshade knobs and that completed the look for me. Highly recommend. #sweepstakes

This is hands down the most phenomenal guitar I've ever owned. Set up out the box was perfect. And the feel and tone is incredible. I finally found the one guitar I can't live without. It covers a wide variety of tones which is exactly what I need! I'm a PRS player for life now!
Really like this one.

I can't say it's perfect, but it is really great. Exactly what I wanted for the price point. I did go into the store and tried about 5 ones til I found the one I knew I wanted. Some I tried had minor fret snag or buzz that could have been remedied. The one I chose has perfect fret work. I took it to a luthier for a once over and he couldn't charge me. He had nothing to do. Proper string change and a little nut sauce and it stays in tune very well with all but the craziest dive bombs. The tops on the SE line vary, mine is very nice. I did put some foam under the trem springs, they rattle a little bit. As for now I like the sound of the pickups. I did hit the switcher with a little deoxit. Coil split sounds are definitely usable. I have 2 other guitars for comparison. '05 US Fender Strat and '99 Samick Artist series with Seymour Duncan's. This SE holds its own with either of those in build quality and sound. Hasn't been on a gig yet but it's been put through its paces at home and in the studio. Wouldn't hesitate to take to a gig. Would definitely recommend.

I've bought lots of guitars and every one has had little issues that made it less than perfect. One played like a hot knife through butter but the Jackson pickups were weak on the top string (Ugh!). An American Strat is a nice nice guitar but it just didn't play as easily as others. Etc., etc. But this PRS SE Custom 24 was on sale with 24 months same as cash and does play like a hot knife through butter, it sounds awesome and it looks soooo GOOD! I have only good things to say about this guitar!

This guitar is very versatile, excellent balance between warm, mid and bright tones, low action and very low acceptable buzz. Excellent in every sense
