PRS 85/15 "S" Pickups Provide Articulate, Balanced Tone
Outfitted with PRS's renowned 85/15 "S" pickups, this model delivers an exceptional range of tones with clarity and precision. Designed for articulation and balance, these humbuckers excel in clean settings, producing warm and rounded tones, while also offering high-output capabilities for aggressive leads and heavy rhythms. A 3-way blade switch allows players to toggle between bridge, neck or combined pickup configurations, while the push-pull tone control unlocks single-coil voicings for added flexibility. Whether you prefer shimmering cleans or saturated overdrive, these pickups ensure every note shines with definition and musicality.
Premium PRS Tonewoods Enhance Resonance and Playability
The combination of a maple top and a mahogany back gives this guitar a tonal foundation that is both warm and articulate. The solid maple cap showcases a stunning flame figure, accentuated by translucent finishes that highlight its natural beauty. Mahogany's inherent richness and sustain complement the brightness of the maple, creating a balanced tonal response. Together, these tonewoods provide a dynamic and resonant sound profile, whether amplified or played unplugged. The gloss finish not only adds a layer of protection but also enhances the guitar's striking visual appeal.
Wide Thin Neck Profile for Fast, Comfortable Playing
The SE Custom 24 limited-edition features PRS's Wide Thin neck profile, crafted from maple for stability and a smooth playing feel. This carve is ideal for players who favor fast, intricate runs or extended chord voicings, providing a sleek and comfortable grip. The 10" radius rosewood fingerboard is a perfect medium between flat and curved, allowing for effortless string bends and precise fretting. With a nut width of 1-11/16" and a 25" scale length, this neck ensures accurate intonation and a responsive playing experience, making it equally suited to rhythm and lead work.
Roadworthy Build With Studio-Grade Performance
Designed to withstand the demands of gigging musicians, the SE Custom 24 limited edition is constructed with durability and reliability in mind. The set-in neck joint ensures lasting stability and sustain, while the PRS-designed tremolo bridge offers smooth action and tuning precision. A double-acting truss rod provides fine adjustments to the neck, ensuring optimal playability in varying conditions. Additionally, the guitar's hardware, including nickel-plated components, is built to endure frequent use without compromising performance. This instrument is as reliable on stage as it is in the studio, making it a true workhorse for dedicated players.

This guitar has a very vintage tone and feel...I love the fact it doesn't have hot pickups but if im in overdrive mode the sustain is delicious...love it.

This guitar is eye candy and set as is isn't bad at all...however I had to set mine up for my liking...trust rod adjustment, sandles adjustment, and pickup hight adjustment, as pick ups are on hot side. Mine had an issue with the wammy springs paddling so I fix that issue using cotton between the springs. Once I adjusted the guitar to my preference it became a delight playing it...the guitar is very well made no disappointments there at all.
Deep end aesthetic now without the deep price!!!!

It's still just your regular SE custom 24 in a special finish, let's not get things confused. But this is definitely a great fade finish depending on your particular cap/veneer quality and it's also a finish you couldn't previously find on SEs but would see occasionally on cores/private stocks so that's a nice unexpected surprise to see show up. Kudos to them for really filling out the SE line. It has all the modern appointments of the newer line SE Custom 24s that you would expect and mine was well fitted/QC'd from the factory. Nice to see PRS living up to it's name on quality control. It's unexpectedly brighter than my 30th ann. 2015 SE custom 24 but this is also my first pass with the newer iterations of pickups. I also haven't even changed out the strings yet or had a setup outside of whatever shipped from factory so take that with a grain of salt. Overall impression is great, what I had hoped for an expected. Loved little touches like the clear lamp shade knobs from factory and the updated headstock full PRS signature as well. Will make a great workhorse addition that stays on my wall. Not sure what anyone could complain about here and I bought at MSRP.

I went in to my local GC to trade a couple things in. I had no idea what I wanted, but I got a recommendation for a guitar that I didn't really like the way it felt. Anyway, this one caught my eye, I was like that's a cool looking guitar. Reminds me of the beach. Picked it up, played it. The necks felt great. I looked at the fret work, I was like yeah... that's some quality stuff. Didn't realize it had a pull/push tone knob till I had it for a day lol. That was a pleasant surprise.
