PRS DGT With Bird Inlays Electric Guitar - Gold Top

The DGT is PRS's revolutionary solidbody electric guitar developed in close collaboration with acclaimed guitarist David Grissom. The DGT delivers a universe of vintage-inspired tones and premium playability, tailored to meet the demands of live performance and studio work. Boasting custom DGT pickups, push-pull coil splitting and a contoured mahogany body, the DGT provides a massive range of sounds with comfort and style.
Custom DGT Pickups Unlock a Plethora of Tones
The DGT features exclusive David Grissom pickups, modeled after vintage PAF humbuckers to provide rich, articulate tones from sparkling cleans to roaring overdrive. Two volume controls and a push/pull coil split on the tone pot offer a plethora of sounds to suit any musical style or genre.
Push-Pull Coil Split Provides Single-Coil Snap
The DGT's push-pull coil split taps the humbucking pickups to deliver crisp, articulate single-coil tones, expanding its tonal palette. Engage the coil split for Strat-like snap and clarity or switch back to the full humbucking mode for thicker, warmer tones.
Contoured Mahogany Body Delivers Resonance and Sustain
The DGT's contoured mahogany body provides a resonant yet balanced foundation for its array of vintage-inspired tones. Mahogany's natural warmth and woody midrange character shine through, with improved sustain and acoustic resonance. The DGT's contours make it a comfortable performance partner during long gigs.
Fast, Low-Action Playability
The DGT features a DGT-profile mahogany neck, 22 jumbo frets and heavy-gauge strings selected by David Grissom for fast, low-action playability. The DGT neck offers effortless soloing and complex chords. Jumbo frets provide a smooth feel for string bends and vibrato. The DGT is built for tone and playability above all else.

I bought this guitar this summer from G/C in Rancho Cuc, CA! SO WEIRD to see my exact guitar on their website. I did a double-take when I saw the unique curly maple pattern and had to check the serial number. Same! I'm still getting used to it. But, I LOVE it!

What is the weight of this guitar?
All guitars vary depending on the density of the wood. Manufacturers usually only spec size and type of wood. Guitars are generally between 6 and 12 lbs. They can be more. The only way to know the weight of an individual instrument is to weigh it. This will be approximately 7 – 8.5 lbs.
