Sturdy and stable

As far as setup, it took less than a minute. The throne itself is very sturdy. The padding is not too soft and not too firm. I just have trouble keeping the seat part at the height I want. Could be because I'm overweight, but at 200 pounds I wouldn't think it would not be able to keep the height that I set.

Junk. Very poor quality.

This and other less expensive PDP drum thrones CANNOT maintain the height you set it at. I'm 5'9" and weigh 160 pounds, which is not over weight, (which shouldn't matter anyway) and no matter how tight I make the friction adjustment knobs, even using wrenches to tighten it, it still slips. I'm so sick of being told "this is a good product", paying over $80.00 including taxes, and finding out it's junk. I don't have the time or the money for this. Guitar Center, you should be ashamed for selling this junk. I'm probably going to just drill a hole through the post and stick a bolt through it....which is how it should be made in the first place.

It's cool, pretty comfortable but the top knobs gets undone after playing for even a short amount of time. Sadly, I would NOT recommend. Spend a bit more get a more sturdy/better build quality.
