The creambacks and semi open design make for an absolutely killer classic sound. I've used this cab with a PRS HDRX20 and a Trainwreck. Both have totally different sounds, but the cab works perfectly with both heads. There's a ton of clarity in the top end without getting too fizzy or distorted, and the low end is tight without sounding out of focus.

This was to replace a Marshall 212 slant vertical cab. I bought an Orange OR15 and although it was okay through the Marshall (Celestion70-80) I knew the great tone of the OR15 deserved better. PLUS it's 10 pounds lighter!!!! I haven't spent a great deal of time with it yet but I noticed the tone quality right away. It's not as 'crispy' as a Vintage 30 but still has a great growl and it's a bit smoother. Dan at Guitar Center in Oakdale Minnesota custom ordered this for me and was a fantastic sales guy. Took a real interest and LISTENED to me when I explained what I wanted and worked hard to make it happen. I I know this cab was created mostly for the Terror line up but it looked perfect for the OR15 as well. Happy customer!!!!
