Supro

collapse expand iconDescription

Designed in collaboration with Robert Keeley of Keeley Electronics as a follow-up to the best-selling Custom 10, the Keeley Custom 12 is built to seamlessly integrate your pedals into the heart of an all-tube Supro amplifier. The preamp and 2-band EQ section are voiced perfectly for running your gain pedals in front of the amp, while still maintaining Supro’s signature midrange heft and phenomenal touch dynamics. And a transparent effects loop provides the ideal point to inject your delay and reverb effects into the amplifier’s all-tube signal path, avoiding unwanted distortion on modulation effects. The Keeley Custom 12 features the legendary Celestion G12M-65 Creamback speaker, developed in the mid-1960s and beloved by the biggest guitar players in history. It produces vintage, woody tone while still offering major power, perfect for modern amps. Low-end heft complements warm and vocal midrange, with crunchy upper-mids and sweet, articulate highs. A master volume circuit allows you to control the sound pressure level coming from the speaker, while pouring on copious amounts of gain from the ECC83S-based tube preamp or your favorite dirt pedals.

This amp is killer. Has a great warm clean sound. Limited options makes it easy to use, but would be loads better with some on-board reverb. First amp ive owned without it so now i gotta buy another pedal i guess. Takes fuzz well, I use attenuation to make the tubes distort naturally.

Ok this is a great moderate sized pedal platform amp coming in at 42 lbs. One thing to be aware of is this amp is extremely warm sounding. I usually run the bass at 3 and the treble at 7 or 8 (on a 1-10 scale). It is not a sparkly clean tone, it's a warm round tone. It's got a volume and a master, which give you plenty of head room. A great feature is the FX loop is located on the top of the amp along with all of the controls, which is great for setup and getting a good visual of your settings while standing upright. This is a class A amp, so the top of it gets pretty warm, so keep it away from the wall for ventilation. Sounds really good with all of my pedals, you can put your favorite time based pedals in the FX loop and keep them sounding pristine. The FX loop was a big deal maker when choosing the right pedal platform amp, none of the other advertised pedal platform amps had an FX loop, which I thought was extremely odd since that was the main purpose of the amp. If your wondering if 25 watts is loud enough, it definitely is. If you're playing live you'll have plenty of stage volume, but you'll probably have it mic'd and coming thru a monitor anyways. All in all great amp. If I'm being picky, the only thing I'd like to have on this amp would be the addition of a presence knob, which would be nice if you wanted to add a little more edge, but that can be done with an EQ pedal.

I’m very sorry. Your question is not clear. The Supro 1968RK Keeley 12 25W is 25 watts and runs on wall current
