Stentor

Description

Educators recommend the 1500 Stentor Student II series violin as an incredibly reliable teaching instrument. Made from hand-carved selected tonewoods, it also features the advantage of ebony pegs and fingerboard, and a good student wooden bow with an ebony frog and rope core strings. The outfit comes complete with a lightweight case with accessory pockets and carrying strap, and is available in sizes: 4/4, 3/4, 1/2, 1/4, 1/8.

Stentor violins, violas and cellos are made by hand in a workshop environment in much the same way that they have been made in Europe for hundreds of years. Stentor instruments have the essential characteristics of good tone quality, plus correct measurements and specifications. Stentor sells more violins than any other company worldwide, and once you play a 1500 Student II Series Violin Outfit, you'll understand why.

Great value for a first violin with a low cost entry point. Please stay away from the sub $100 violins. You will just frustrate yourself. Start here.

I use this product for fun, even though it requires certain maintenance like tuning and putting the rosin, avoid touching the bow with hands, all that beginners stuff, besides all that I like my violin thanks!
