Best Throne ever built hands down!
I have been using this throne for 11 years now. It finally just cracked where the throne bracket and nitro rod connect. I am going to either buy the bracket and replace it, or just buy a new one altogether. Don't get me wrong with this review, I LOVE this throne and have no problems buying another one. 11 years problem free, nitro still works perfectly. This Throne has been through abuse let me tell you. Consider none other!

Great throne!! If you're not a power drummer
I bought this throne thinking I would love the bounce. I'm a pretty hard hitter and the fact that it did bounce eliminated my ability to get power from my legs. It's like a moutain bike with shocks that you're just using to ride around town when you really push and try to get speed the shocks take away from the power. So I took it back and got the standard no shock roc n soc and I love it. You just have to figure if it'll work for you. Enjoy

Fatal construction flaw

The cuishon is really nice and so is the base, but the primary point of stress between the two that supports the entire load of the throne is two pieces of plastic. Granted, I'm using this for piano and guitar, but it pops loudly every time I move. For drums that's fine, I suppose.

I was convinced that the Ahead Spinal G was the throne I should get based on reviews. I went to GC to get one, but wanted to test it anyways to see if it was really that comfortable. I found one in the middle of a bunch of bongos and sat down.I was Not impressed. But next to it was a roc n soc nitro. I gave it a sit, and totally felt the difference in comfort and stability. long story short, Amazing how much difference this throne has made in improving my doubles in accuracy and speed. love the instant height adjustment ability.

After having used the standard thone most drummers start with, I recently purchased the Roc-N-Soc Nitro Throne. It is by far the most comfortable Throne I have ever used and would buy it again, but that won't be necessary since it will last for many years. #sweepstakes

The base is built heavy and solid. NO wobble. The back rest is also solid and will tilt back with you but still support. It more like the throne is good dance partner and fallows your lead very well.
I would buy RocnSoc throne again

I'm very happy with the nitro throne. It's very stable and very comfortable. Played 2 gigs and a couple of practices and I can tell a big difference in my comfort level after we're done. And I'm old!
