Great Throne!

This throne is great, I would recomend it to everyone who is in the market for a pro throne that gives you comfort and stability . The nitro advantage is that quick height adjustments are somtimes needed in a performance and this throne delivers. It has comfort and a solid feel that will improve your drumming! No more side strain because of its free motion right to left. Again Great product!

ROC-N-SOC NRX Nitro Rider: Excellent Support

The ROC-N-SOC NRX Nitro Rider Throne is everything every drummer I polled before buying says it is: excellent quality, full featured with the gas shock system and heavy duty. That said, I have two complaints that make it not throne for me. First, I found the motorcycle style seat to be restrictive in the crotch area, and it also didn't allow smooth rotation of my legs and feet. Second, its large size is something to behold. I added the back rest and the throne could double as a heavy duty, cushy and comfy bar stool. I found that it takes up too much room behind the kit, as well broken down for transport. A round-style throne is for me. But don't let me deter you. If a motorcycle seat is your thing, this throne is tough to beat.

I'm a heavy guy. I was hesitant purchasing this cause the legs in the picture looked thin and not too strong. Well all concerns went away as soon as I received it. Sturdy, as solid as can be.

  • I really appreciate the quality this throne.

I'm 6'3" and sit high, and this throne gives me plenty of height (29" max) WITH solid stability. No more wobble at full extension like my old screw-style throne.

  • Love this drum throne. I use it for guitar.

The bar stool I was using when practicing guitar was causing back pain, so I got this drum throne. It is perfect. I use it with a guitar foot stand. I also bought heel stand you can bolt onto this throne. It is a perfect set up for playing guitar.

I am 65yrs old and play in a 50s&60s Rock n Roll band. We play for 3 hrs a gig. I already have a rock n soc that is about 10yrs old. And decided to use it for my practice set. And the new one for playing out. I have used other name brand thrones, but the roc n soc is hard to beat! They feel nice and absorb a lot of shock. That is why they ROCK!

This stool is very comfy and well made but very heavy - but I am not a small guy and my back end really likes the cush!
