PreSonus

Description

The PreSonus Eris E7 XT 6.5” active studio monitor boasts robust connectivity options and a powerful, articulate driver combination. The Eris E7 XT 130W powered studio monitor is a nuanced update to a lauded classic, the Eris E7. The 1.25” silk-dome tweeter now sports a Hugh Sarvis-designed EBM waveguide, delivering a wider and more controlled sweet spot ideal for group listening and collaboration. A larger, ported enclosure extends the bass response of the 6.5” woven composite low-frequency driver without adding any mud. And of course, the acoustic tuning controls let you flatten the frequency response in accordance with your mix environment. It’s Eris, remastered.

So PreSonus advertises the Eris E7 XT and E8 XT as both having 140 watt Class A/B amplification. Of course on your site here I am seeing Class D amplification at 130 watts. If you know anything about Sound and Musical Electronics you will know that is a world of difference. Can you please tell me what I am getting?
