For the first time on a Pioneer DJ controller, horizontal tempo sliders sit atop the deck sections, paralleling a PLX turntable battle configuration. This unique layout gives open-format DJs an authentic performance experience and the freedom to test new mixing styles. The sliders provide a smooth pitch range of ±8%, ±16% and ±50% for seamless blends and scratch performances.

16 Performance Pads Unlock Advanced Features

The DDJ-REV1 is equipped with 16 RGB performance pads for triggering hot cues, rolls, slicers and samplers. Each pad illuminates in coordination with the beat, providing visual feedback to help DJs stay on rhythm. The pads unlock many advanced functions in Serato DJ Pro, from looping and cue points to beat slicing and sample triggering.

Mixer Section With Lever FX Paddles

The mixer section is designed to mirror Pioneer's professional DJM series mixers, complete with lever FX paddles to activate Serato DJ Pro's virtual effects. DJs can apply and manipulate effects like reverb, flanger, phaser and delay using a familiar paddle interface. A Magvel fader crossfader provides a smooth response for scratching, while channel faders, EQs, filters and trim knobs give DJs full control over their mix.
