Description

The PRS SE Swamp Ash CE 24 is a limited-edition guitar that merges jaw-dropping aesthetics with exceptional tone and playability. Featuring a sandblasted ash top over a mahogany body, this one-of-a-kind electric immediately catches the eye with its unique woodgrain pop. Beyond its striking looks lies renowned PRS design and craftsmanship, delivering the versatile sound and addictive feel that serious players crave.

PRS SE Swamp Ash CE 24 Sandblasted Woodgrain Finish

Sandblasted Swamp Ash Top Reveals Captivating Grain

The sandblasted finish on the swamp ash top creates a distinctive look that sets this limited-edition CE 24 apart from the crowd. Instead of a smooth gloss, the sandblasting technique exposes the rich, varied grain patterns found only in swamp ash. The result is a visually captivating top that seems to shift in appearance as light hits it from different angles, revealing organic textures that have deliberately been preserved. Paired with the mahogany back, this guitar boasts style you won’t find anywhere else.

PRS SE Swamp Ash CE 24 Sandblasted 85/15 "S" Pickups

Balanced 85/15 “S” Pickups Unlock Versatile Tones

At the heart of the SE Swamp Ash CE 24’s impressive voice are a pair of 85/15 “S” humbuckers. These proprietary PRS pickups balance warmth and clarity to capture the extended highs and focused lows needed for everything from sparkling cleans to searing leads. The push/pull tone knob lets you split the humbuckers for single-coil bite when you need it—paired with a 3-way toggle switch, this PRS CE 24 offers six distinct tonalities for every manner of playing. Whether you’re crafting shimmering chords or digging into an extended solo, these pickups deliver with power, nuance and expressiveness.

PRS SE Swamp Ash CE 24 Sandblasted Wide Thin Maple Neck

Wide Thin Bolt-on Neck Enables Effortless Playability

PRS’ acclaimed Wide Thin neck profile feels instantly comfortable in your hands. The bolt-on maple construction enhances articulation and resonance, with a snappy attack that helps notes pop on everything from twangy chicken pickin’ to technical metal riffing. The 24-fret rosewood fingerboard features a balanced, familiar 10" radius that makes passionate blues bends and vibrato feel like second nature, and it’s still flat enough to enable effortless shredding of more complex lead and rhythm styles. With its 25" scale length and smooth heel joint, the neck promotes dexterous movement all the way up the fretboard. Capping off the limited-edition SE Swamp Ash CE 24’s neck are classic vintage-style PRS bird inlays, adding a touch of timeless elegance from an iconic design.

PRS SE Swamp Ash CE 24 Sandblasted Hardware

Reliable Hardware Maximizes Tuning Stability

The Paul Reed Smith SE Swamp Ash CE 24 Sandblasted Limited Edition incorporates pro-grade hardware to keep your tuning locked tight through energetic performances and sessions. Its patented molded tremolo offers buttery smooth operation and excellent intonation, while PRS-designed tuners maintain steady pitch—even after aggressive string bends and dive bombs. Smoked black hardware coating looks sleek, perfectly complementing the sandblasted finish without drawing attention away from the gorgeous natural graining. With its robust and reliable construction, this guitar stays in tune so you can focus solely on playing.

Whether you’re a genre-hopping studio musician or an adventurous live performer, the sandblasted PRS SE Swamp Ash CE 24 has the looks, tone and feel to inspire your creativity. • I really want to like it...

This guitar is just... Fine. I have the opportunity to play on this thing 2 - 3 times a week as one of my clients is using one. Every time I see it I love it. Every time I play I feel unsure. The tone is fine, the feels is nice, but it's a little rough around the edges. The setup was a joke and some fret work needed to be done, but it's fine now. It feels like it has an identity crisis... It wants to be a double cut Les Paul, but also wants to be a Fender of sorts, and then also wants to go hard like an Ibanez or Schecter. It's really none of those, but also not entirely it's own thing. I think if you're only going to own one guitar this is a good pick, but if you already own a couple of guitars, or plan to own more, give this one a miss.

I saw the limited edition finish (sandblasted Purple), had to have it. Even better in person absolutely beautiful guitar. The set up had a bit to be desired...factory strings of course, HAD TO GO the first 5 minutes, string heights were unequal, intonation was off but, I've done this enough that I was able to correct everything and now, it's a GREAT GUITAR.
