Light only works when device is plugged in. Contacted mfr who promptly replied asking for my address to send replacement. I promptly provided my address. That was months ago, despite trying to get an answer or tracking #, they stopped replying and left me with this defective unit. Thanks mystic light

I just wanted to note that there is an off/on button so the light does not have to stay on. It can also be changed between red, blue, green, blue/green and white. Thee reviews I read said it did not have an on/off switched. It must have been upgraded.

Overall, it's a good product, it feels like cheap plastic, and the wall anchors I wouldn't trust. I personally put 8d screws and thankfully the studs are true 18" on center, so they are anchored properly.

Love the look of the light. Only changes I would make would be a timer for the light and different colors or finishes for the cover plate

Do the MuzicLight Guitar Wall Hanger's have an on off switch to the light, or is it always on while the guitar is hanging? What kind of batteries are used in the wall hanger?

    Open Reply - Thomas
It's 'Always On' and requires 2 AA batteries.

Two questions, please... 1. Is this battery powered and if so, what type of batteries do they take? 2. Is there an off switch when the guitar hangs? I plan on hanging my guitars on this product indefinitely, 95% of the time will not be in the room to enjoy the lights and it'd be a waste of battery life, assuming YES to question #1)

    Open Reply - Thomas
2 AA required. There is an on/off switch.
