    I have read a lot about the quality of a cable affecting the sound, but I was skeptical that the difference would be anything that jumps out at me, but I took a chance on these Pure Patch 1/4" and oh wow, yes, the difference is apparent immediately. I was using a low-end Hosa stereo patch cable from my M-Audio M-Track into Tannoy 5" two-way powered monitors, and after swapping the Mogamis in, the sound level was louder, the bass and snare drums went from being too prominent and clinical and became part of a wider soundscape, and the mids were suddenly present. Test recording was a YouTube stream of Phoenix' "Lisztomania." Absolutely worth the upgrade: just do it.
