Description

iRig MIDI 2 is the sequel to iRig MIDI, IK's popular MIDI interface for iOS. Equipped with a Lightning cable for connection with all the latest iOS devices, it also offers Mac/PC compatibility via an included USB cable, and its flexible connectivity lets it serve double duty as a mobile and studio interface.

iRig MIDI 2 sports standard-sized MIDI In, Out and Thru jacks, and its pocket-sized form factor gives it maximum portability. Its cables are bumper friendly, so there is never any trouble plugging into devices with cases on.

iRig MIDI 2 brings a whole new level of convenience and flexibility, for connecting MIDI controllers to iOS devices, Macs and PCs. The convenient THRU port allows for simultaneous control of virtual instruments on your iOS device and external traditional hardware synths, all from the same controller and at the same time. Convenient MIDI IN and OUT activity LEDs allow for quick MIDI setup checks.

    Bought this to connect my drums to GarageBand on an iPad. But now I've found that it also works great to connect my Big Sky reverb pedal to my Mac running the Nixie software. Thank you IK for providing both a lightning cable and a USB cable with the device.

    I bought this to allow me to control and manage setting for my Hughes & Kettner Grandmeister 36. After a quick firmware update it worked great. It works with both my Windows laptop using the CTRL Grandmeister app and my Android tablet using the Grandmeister app from the Google Play Store. It does exactly what I was looking for it to do.

    This iOS interface is awesome. I use it live with my iPad mini and use the midi thru to bridge my Virus ti. One of the most important things when performing live is probably the latency, and this little interface feels as realtime as it gets. Pros: Low Latency, Small size, Comes with cables (Lightning and Usb) and easy to use. Cons: None
