    It does keep the guitar super humid and I have to wait 15 minutes after I take it out of the case for it to dry out and shrink back down putting the strings back in tune. I only wish there was a way to adjust how much humidity it keeps the guitar. I've been putting less water on the sponge and it just means it drys out faster. I seem to have gotten to to do well if I only do enough water that i have to add water again every two days.
