CDX-2250i

Would have liked to buy a much better unit.I am still using CD along with computer and ipad for my DJ gigs. It seems as though this is the last of the "old timer" style dual cd players for us old pros.Guess I wil be going all digital next time I need to purchase a system!!! But I like the unit ,it works just fine and the price is excellent!!!

I have a single act and use this product for my rehearsal and on live gigs. It is an amazing unit. I use the USB inputs with my created background tracks preloaded on thumb drives for the show. I use the CD players for music between sets. I also like the pitch controls to tune the tracks to my guitar. I have used this unit extensively for over two years with no issues and will buy another for a "just in case" backup. I love the quality, features, operability and rackmount design for an amazing low price!

  • I may try another one just to make sure it wasn't a lemon

    My question was:

"The cue button and jog wheel allow me to fine tune a cue point within miliseconds. Great! But how do you search through the track in general, .,.,. let's say to a particular place maybe 4 or 5 minutes into the selection? You know, ... fast forward"...etc.

 You answered:

"There is a forward and rewind motion on the both wheels. [Gear-Head...]"

My answer is:

" Yes......... but as I said, it only advances in milliseconds. I even pushed down on the jog wheel to see if there was a buried search mode under there, ...but no. Do you understand the question? Can you help me find this search function Gear-Head? Thanx ! jj
