Feels cheap right out of the box. Nothing screws together flush. 6 months later the entire top boom part fell off and no longer screws on. Just trash.

There aren't too many reviews for mic stands in general, so I thought it was worth leaving a review for this one. I've used plenty of fold-up mic stands over the years, but this one is a step up from the average. Although very light weight and compact when folded up, it's remarkably stable in use. The weighted boom helps with this. The over-sized clutches and hand screws make any adjustment easy. Although it costs a little more than the entry-level products, I think it's well worth it. Grab one and see for yourself!
