Solid case

I bought this case as a replacement for the old chainsaw case that came with my 1981 Gibson Les Paul Standard. This case is slightly longer than the standard Gibson USA cases. There is roughly 1 1/2 - 2 inches of room in the case which is a bit annoying since I can feel the guitar move around (back-forth) when I carry it. Outside of that, the case is very well made and durable. Very similar in appearance to the brown Gibson USA cases. Nice interior, strong hardshell outer case. Aside from the fit for my guitar, it works for me (I remedied the problem by putting a small towel to make the guitar snug). I would recommend the case if you just need to keep your guitar protected inside of your house but if you're using it for gigging purposes or traveling, I would suggest you look at something a little tougher and more secure. Outside of that, you can't beat the price.

guitar case

case does not fit the gibson les paul very good . it has a lot of play inside case. needs a better fit. case may be pretty but it doesn't have the quality i was assured of by guitar center. so much for the money

    I needed another Les Paul case for awhile and had been watching for a good deal . Having been a fan of Gator cases this one looked like a nice case . It is a nice case and is very well built and shows well with a nice Les Paul guitar inside .

    It's not the 50's Gibson case, but very close. I have been looking since 1986 for a case like it. Finally being able to obtain it it,is cool. If you are on a budget, get it.

    People buying AX 120 BY IBANEZ.....said oh get a Gibson SG Case.....this case doesn't work for me....its a shame its a wonderful case.....none of my guitars will fit in this or I would keep it...CASE MAKERS ARE REALLY NEGLIGENT in letting the Consumer know what case will fit what guitar...and word of mouth didn't help me either

    I've acquired an Epiphone Studio LT and am retrofitting "gold" locking tuners, black Tusq nut, gold roller bridge and stop, gold p/I'd and frames, gold switch and knobs, gold output and locking strap holders. Against the walnut finish. What other case would do?
