I was initially skeptical about spending over a $100 on a gig bag and wondered how much better it could be than others in the $50-75 range. So far, I have to say that I am very glad I did. I've only used the gig bag a few times so far, but it is waaay better than the three previous gig bags I had. The pockets/compartments are the best I've had on a gig bag. The nylon exterior seems like it will be tough and long-lasting. Plush inside with what seems to be good protection. I like that it has a rain cover, and while that feels like a bit of a novelty and extravagance I am sure I would be delighted to have it if ever caught in a downpour. Bottom line, you get what you pay for. And since I like my guitars and spent decent money on them I'd rather spend the extra 50 bucks to get them a bit better protection.

Will get a lot of use as it holds my everyday teaching guitar, an Eastman 8 OM. Seems well made with plenty of pockets. Time will tell!
