This Frameworks heavy-duty adjustable "X" style keyboard stand is constructed of steel with a rubberized leveling foot and can be used while standing or sitting. It locks in a closed position so it's easy to carry. It has multiple levels of adjustability from 3" to 40" in height and can hold up to 200 lb.

    I got this for a fully weighted keyboard in my studio, not for gigs, and for that purpose it works well. Holds a heavy stage piano without breaking a sweat. My only negative for this unit is the latch mechanism that holds the stand in place at the proper height is a bear to use. It latches tight, but I have to use a clawhammer to undo it when I need to make a height adjustment. Maybe it will get easier with use. Otherwise, it's a decent stand and good for the price. It comes ready to use right out of the box, no assembly, that's a big plus.

    The stand is very strong and sturdy. It holds my Hammond XK3 with my Korg on top of it just fine. It's definitely not one of those cheap wobbly stands. Make sure the locking latch clicks before placing your keyboard on it or it will end up collapsing. It takes extra force to secure the locking latch.

    I noticed that a lot of other keyboard stands have warning for exposure to chemicals, there is no warning for this one, is it because the warning was not posted or because this stand does not have harmful chemical exposures?

    The warning stickers are put there by the manufacturer - not the distributor. Please reach out to Gator.
