Description

The Fender Stratocaster SSS Texas Special prewired pickguard allows you to capture Stevie Ray Vaughn's iconic Texas tone. Made with premium components in the same factory as Fender's legendary guitars, this drop-in pickguard is easy to install. Simply remove your old guard, solder the output jack and ground wires, screw in the new guard and you're ready to rock with pure Fender sound.

    I am very pleased with the loaded pick guard I purchased. Sound is incredible has that vintage strat soung. Sounds better than I imagined.

    So is this made in a fender custom shop or is it based on pickups from made by the custom shop?

    I have a Fender Player series HSS. Will this fit that guitar, with the SSS pickups, and screw holes, without any modifying?

    Will this adapt to a squirt without drilling holes...and this is an unopened box when shipped are my 2 questions

    It is new and in box, but depending on the model you have the edge screw holes may not line up.
