This amp has an amazingly complex gain structure and the clean tones are absolutely pristine and perfect. This is the epitome of Fender clean and that beautiful deep Fender Reverb. The amp takes pedals extremely well which was a pleasant surprise. Particularly any kind of a gain or boost pedal. The only issue I had with this amp is that it's far too loud for the type of rooms that I play. And it's incredibly heavy as well. So I'm contemplating getting one of the blackface Reverb reissue shoes and having it modded.

The sound from this amp is amazing. The tones are crystal clear, mellow and full. I love listening to the chords and notes. It makes me want to play better and ensure that each note or chord is flawless just so that I can hear that warm, clear tone.

I just purchased my 2nd Fender Hot Rod DeVille ML. I bought a DeVille ML a couple years ago and then sold it to get some other "shiny object" amps. But this amp was too good to pass up so I bought it again! If you use pedals (particularly for crunch / distortion) this amp is a truly remarkable platform. I now have a great 1x12", a great 2x12" (the DeVille ML) and a great 4x10"...my amp collection is complete!

Just played my first gig with the new Fender Hot Rod Deville ML inspired amp. The sound this amp puts out is rich and warm, and the highs have a beautiful chime . Its easy to use, and I love the second clean channel. This is great if you love the tone in the first channel and then just want to boost the sound you already have for solos, or a part that needs to come up in the mix. This amp take pedals exceptionally well. It Has a nice effects loop to run your ambiance pedals thru. You can also use the preamp out to record from. Just run that to the input of your audio interface. The amp is heavy though so a cart will come in handy moving it around for gigs and such.
