Should have known, but did it anyway. Marked clearance at half price, so GREAT deal. Cable buzzed horribly when inserted. One guy acted like it was a bad cable and swapped it out. There is one position it works and I guess he knew it. Been wanting a Blues Jr. for a while, so at half price, I bought it. Clearance doesn't have returns, but I bought the 2 year protection for not much. I will take it in and they will fix it. All said and done, I still come out way ahead, just wish they had been up front with me about it. Would have bought it anyway and left it with them to fix. Now I have to take it back.

I went to Guitar Center to check out some electric guitars, and purchasing an amp never crossed my mind. Until I plugged a couple of candidates into this amp. On clean, the sound was rich and warm and full. I could dial in everything from crisp highs to rich mids to deep bass using the tone controls. Reverb was that famous Fender reverb. Perfect. Using the fat switch and overdriving it just blew me away. Heavy. Nasty. Growling, with plenty of low end "thump" that only a tube amp can produce. I left there without a guitar. But arrived home with this beauty.
