I was looking for a Les Paul style guitar, but was particularly interested in 50s Chunky C neck profile. The Pelham Blue color with a very subtle metal flake— in an "aged gloss" finish. The JJN signature P90 is whisper quiet, unless you run cheap cables. Super Happy with this guitar.
It was pretty good.

The good. Beautiful looking guitar. Simple sleek. The p90 sounded great. Bright and sparkly with that meaty grind you get from p90's. Paint job is beautiful. Loved the neck! It's a fat classic Gibson 1950's style neck. It's not a baseball bat but it's girthy. It also has a satin finish which I like. The not so good. The finger board felt cheap. The frets were very rough. The rosewood board was rough. It made the whole playing experience sub par. For the money they are asking it doesn't make sense. Interestingly enough lesser priced Epis felt great! The 59's also played great. Smooth finger board, polished frets, I also picked up multiple PRS SE's and Charvels. All superior playing experience. It's possible the 3 Jared Nichols I tried were just odd ball guitars. And the problems are easily fixed with some TLC. But for the price they're asking it doesn't make sense. Don't buy online. You might get a complete dud or you might get a great one. Go into the music store and play before you buy.
