Better than expected

Got this for my 12yo son who is dying to learn drums after going to music camp for trumpet and came home having learned drums from his buddy. I did SO much research. I started off wanting an acoustic set but they're so large and loud. I was worried about that. I bought nice studio headphones ($50) and a speaker ($89) so he can have it either way and this fits in his room. Easy to put together in 1.5 hours by myself. Included instructions were fine. SO adjustable to suit angles and heights. Also got a throne ($50), of course, and he is 100% set and a happy camper. Finding the high tech newish mesh in a set for this cost also made me a very happy camper! Also, sufficiently quiet from the next room. I can hear him some but not too bad. TV drowns it out, but sleeping silently in the next room? Nope. That would be too much to expect. It's exactly what I was looking for and more. Floor footprint is surprisingly small but this would be fine for an adult. Oh, and the manufacturer video shows it easily folding down to nothing to slide away flat. Haha that would be a pain.

Great for beginners

It's awesome for a beginner and very easy to assemble. The only issue that I have with it is the misleading information on the box. It says that there are 120 sounds. Little did I know that it was talking about every individual drum and cymbal. I thought it meant actual kits in which there are only 10. I like how you can plug a device in so that you can play along with your favorite band. Very fun to have and great for beginners like myself. The mesh makes it very quiet. This is good because I live with my family and I'm not disturbing them while I play. It sounds very good with headphones on. Good for a beginner but If you have experience, go with somthing better. What is part "O" for in the assembly?

it works great! but the only issue i have is the hi hat and the pedals, the hi hat is quieter so you have to hit it much harder. or maybe its just mine. and the pedals break if you press on them too hard due to electronic triggers. but otherwise a cheap amazing beginners drum kit.

I had to replace a somewhat elaborate acoustic kit with a smaller and more quiet option, due to a recent relocation of my teaching studio. This kit showed up at just the right time on a price drop deal on one of the regular mailings, and I jumped on it, very busy in general with relocating and not knowing much about these electronic drums. I figured for the price there was no way to go wrong, and I was right. Turns out it is a very capable kit with some useful features not available in a traditional kit, like changing the drum sounds, a built in metronome, and built in training tracks, and of course the ability to adjust volume down to conversation levels. I added a Simmons speaker and the whole rig sounds and plays great for about $400 altogether. It fits perfectly into the limited space I had for it, and adjusts within a size range for teaching kids about 7 or 8 up through adults.

  • Fantastic feel for the money, but no double bass

I bought this to play quietly in my apartment and get a little exercise at home during the pandemic. It's been amazing for just that so far, but I do like me some speed metal every now and again and I can't find a way to set this up for a double bass drum. I should have read further, but I just want to make it clear to everyone else- IF YOU HAVE ANY INTENTION OF PLAYING METAL OR HARDCORE PUNK, YOU'LL NEED A DIFFERENT MODEL. If you'll only ever need the standard arrangement with 10 preset sounds, then you're all set!

  • Pedals suck

I've had this for four months and both pedals don't work anymore, but it's still too late for me to return it.

Purchased because I wanted a quiet drum set for home. The pedals have the most annoying loud sounds to them while the Cymbals are so quiet, you can barely hear them. The sound of them did not match up with real sounds from a drum. I wasn't expecting it. The cymbals do not respond very well when trying to play them quickly. The clicking on the pedals has a loud click and a thump when pressing. Too sensitive kick drum. Module small, no volume control on single electronic. Lots of reverb, the kick pedal drowns out all the sounds.

  • Nice versatile and easy set up!

Is there a general dimension window for width & depth for the complete kit all set up? I know it's adjustable but I'm just trying to figure out if it'll fit where I want it. These dimensions are surprisingly hard to find. Thanks.

It's because they're adjustable that no one says anything. You need to give yourself at least 6 x 5
