Nice stand, if the height is right for you

This stand is high-quality, and very durable. I feel like it's designed for a standing keyboard player, where a precise height might not matter as much. For a sitting player, trying to have proper posture, it can be a matter of luck as far as whether it works for you. You see, this one locks by having a wheel with slots, and a peg that catches in those slots to set the height. This means that there are only about 7-8 possible heights for this stand, and only 2 of them are anywhere near low enough for seated play. If neither one feels right, you're out of luck.

Rough out of the box, but I think it will work.

I'm still getting over the long, harrowing night I had putting the thing together. The instructions were not really all that clear, and the thing was defective right out of the box. The end cap for the second tier broke as i was taking it out and I had to drill through the plastic to fully remove it. Also, the ergo-lok lever had been wedged in there, (also right out of the box) and it would not raise or lower without practically disassembling it. However, I took it to my local guitar center and the associate there fixed it for me right in the store! He made me a happier customer.

I bought this to hold my lap steel. I know, it is supposed to be on my lap. However, I have a bad back. Standing is easier.

  • Very solid. I've got Yamaha cp 88 on it.

The round bars on top seem shorter than the round bars at the bottom. What is the length of the round bars at the bottom?

I’m very sorry, the manufacturer has not made that information available. Unfortunately, I don’t have a unit to measure.

I need to know how how far out it will stick out when set up against a wall. What is the length of the feet (the bars that sit flush on the floor)?? They seem much longer than the bars that the keyboard sits on.
