This tier adapter fit my keyboard stand perfectly, I have a heavy duty x stand. It was easy to set up it fits into the back of my stand with two expanding pieces that fit into the pipe ends of the stand. It fit my two smaller key boards perfectly. Now i have all three on one stand.

The search for the perfect keyboard stand continues, but this is probably the most versatile set up I have used. The ability to adjust the height of the tiers without adjusting the bottom stand is a blessing. Being able to independently configure the four ties gives me the ability to stack three keyboards. I have a 76-key on the bottom, a 61-key in the middle, and on top off to the side a 32 key. Do not use this with a single-braced stand as shown in the picture--trust me on this--you will need the stability of a double-braced stand.
Don't recommend for gigs. good for small studio space.

I wouldn't recommend this for gigging if you have to set it up and tear it down, but it works just fine for a 3 tier in a small space. Does not come with the bad stand, slips in the back of your existing stand. Make sure your base stand is a stable double braced type. It wouldn't be stable on a single brace lightweight stand. One of the support arms for the board won't tighten down because the knob won't spin correctly in the threads but since I'm not going to move it for gigs, it is adequate. Recommend a more stable setup for gigging, but this works for a non-mobile rig in a small space.
