Description
The Neotech Tuba Harness conforms to the shape of your body and evenly disperses the weight of the instrument while absorbing the shock of your movements. The neoprene pad forms a comfortable and stable yolk across the top of the back and shoulders. The cushion stays just where you need it most-no matter the amount of moving and grooving you do while playing. The self-adjusting harness freely glides through the hardware located in the back which increases your mobility without sacrificing comfort. The Neotech Tuba Harness is designed with both men and women in mind for the most comfortable fit.
The unique attachment system offers two connection options to fit most types of tubas. One option offers a "cradle" for the lower section of the instrument made of a unique wrap support. It is covered in a non-marring material to protect against abrasion to the tuba's finish. This option is ideal for tubas that do not have an attachment eyelet located on the lower section. The second option offers loop connectors that can be attached directly to the eyelet located on the lower section of some tubas. These loops then attach to the snap hooks on the main body of the Neotech Tuba Harness. The harness also offers an upper support strap for added stability. This strap can be connected to either the right or left side of the harness depending on the player's preference.
Regular - Approximately 22" - 27". Measurement is approximately from top of shoulder to connector hooks where either the cradle or loops attach to the main harness.
X-long - Approximately 26" - 33". Measurement is approximately from top of shoulder to connector hooks where either the cradle or loops attach to the main harness.

Can I use this with a euphonium?
The Neotech Tuba Harness is sized and shaped for larger instruments like tubas or sousaphones. A euphonium is significantly smaller and lighter. The attachment points may not align well, leading to awkward playing position or lack of balance. You might find the harness overkill for a euphonium, especially if you’re standing or marching — a smaller strap or harness might be more practical.submitted3 years ago
